Photo of the Day, March 24: Sintra, Portugal
A little splash of colour always makes you smile. Even more when its on a massive palace in a lovely part of Portugal

Pena National Palace in Sintra, Portugal
The Pena National Palace is a spot in Sintra Portugal that will brighten anyone’s day. Perched up high it has amazing views, but it is the unique architecture and bold colours that draws tourists in. Once again it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site and I’m beginning to see that you can never be disappointed when you visit something that is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Just out of Lisbon, this was a great day trip, but strap on your walking shoes, because its a bit of a hike up there!

I visited this place during my stay in Lisbon two summers ago, definitely worth a trip! Great shot, by the way 🙂
