#30 Top Travel Experience before I’m 30: Rediscovering New Zealand

Number 30 in my Greatest Travel Experiences before I’m 30 had to lead me back home to my homeland, New Zealand, Aotearoa, the land of the long white cloud.

New Zealand was never high priority on the travel list, it was always going to be here for me to return to. However, after close of 5 years living in the UK, then another 8 months travelling around Africa, South and Central America, I was overdue to see my homeland. New Zealand was calling.

New Zealand is home to nature and wildlife from farms and forests, mountains and hills to our coastal seas and lakes.

I’ve spent the last year and a half concentrating on places I’ve never seen in New Zealand and a few of my favourites. This has lead me from the far north to places like the Bay of Islands, to our capital city at the other end of the North Island – Wellington. Then there was Abel Tasman National Park and Nelson at the top of the South Island, down to Christchurch and Queenstown and all the lovely regions surrounding them.

I’ve pulled together a bit of a photo-video below to celebrate reaching my 30th birthday and my 30th blog post in this series. So sit back and enjoy a little taste of New Zealand.
