Brunch with the Brunch Club at Tannery

The Tannery, Auckland
My first Kiwi bloggers brunch! My London blogger pals would be proud!
I stumbled upon this group and managed to sneak my way into their brunch yesterday at the Tannery in Auckland.

Inside The Tannery
It was a lovely group with some fantastic blogs and personalities. I found it really nice to get back into the swing of things and making friends, since I don’t have that many left in NZ after my being away for close to 6 years.
The Tannery was a great spot to eat, with plenty of space and street parking (although I did drive a bit further to avoid parallel parking between cars). The brunch food was mainly bagels, but tasty ones at that! I was tossing up between sweet and savoury, but wasn’t disappointed with my chose of ‘The Works’.

The Works Bagel
My bagel was slightly burnt, but well hidden with the gorgeous toppings.
The sweet option I was considering was a stunning play on french toast – but with a bagel…

And I’ve course I opted for the token Kiwi flat white…

The Brunch Club is organised by a few lovely ladies who were very approachable and made great conversation. It’s nice to see bloggers going out of their way to make friends with others and be a helpful community without any competition or expectations involved.
Hopefully I’ll be in Auckland for the next one!
It was nice to meet you, albeit briefly – brunch club is a great place to connect with bloggers 🙂
Likewise! Was nice to meet so many friendly people.
Glad you had a good time at the brunchclub! I was so sorry to miss it, especially as it is one of my favourite spots 🙂 x
So proud Ngaire 😉 I love that blogger brunches are becoming international…!
Knew you’d be proud! If only there was an ozone coffee roasters here that did that amazing eggs benedict!
