Photography Friday: V is for ‘Vintgar’
Vintgar, ever heard of such a place?
Think green waters – crystal clear. Think gushing waterfalls, wooden bridges winding around cliffs covered in plants. A world away from the city lies an oasis of nature: Vintgar, Slovenia.
Back in 2008, near the end of my EUNZ scholarship exchange I was situated in the stunning Slovenia. Taking a weekend out of the city, I visited Lake Bled, where I ventured to Vogel for Paragliding and Vintgar for a nature walk. An incredible piece of nature it was!

I hope you liked this little piece of Slovenia. It reminded me so much of spots in New Zealand when I visited, like Karangahake Gorge.

Apart from Lake Bled, this was my favourite place in Slovenia
Stunning isn’t it? Reminds me of home!
Breathtaking!
