Photo of the Day, March 16: Mt. Sinai, Egypt
Sometimes we just need a little bit of sunshine in our lives.

Trekking through darkness around and around a mountain, I finally came to the last hurdle: stones steps (rocks) in the freezing cold. Carrying a thick woolen blanket and my camera I hiked up the last bit of the mountain and awaited one of the most stunning sunrises I’ve seen. The sun rose quietly over the Sinai desert in Egypt as several people watched in awe from the top of Mt. Sinai.
