Photo of the Day, March 10: Reykjavik, Iceland

Baby blue waters amongst volcanic rocks at the Blue Lagoon in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Failing to see the Northern Lights properly, Reykjavik didn’t disappoint. The city itself is strangely quite with a very tall unique Cathedral towering down from a hill above the city. Cars would stop on the motorway for people to cross, without anyone fearing for their lives. The waters of the blue lagoon mesmerized me to the point of sharing this photograph for today’s photo of the day. The colour of the water was just so incredible and contrasted so harshly against the volcanic grounds around.
